Venue draws crowd for live music, authentic Chinese food

The Phoenix Lounge is nestled between the remaining car dealerships (Honda, Ford) on the Canyon Road strip in Beaverton, tucked away in the rear of Fong Houng's Palace at 12525 S.W. Canyon Rd.

The Phoenix Lounge joins the growing list of establishments drawing patrons out to the westside for live music, dancing, Karaoke, DJs and various events.

It's dance floor is substantial, making it a natural gathering place for club goers to shake their groove thing! Weekends boast live bands, or DJs to keep you movin' through the night! Live band Karaoke is coming on strong as well. Currently, The New Phoenix is promoting a talent contest. So, if now's the time to show the world (or even just your friends) what you got give them a call, and sign up for the show!!

The beautiful hand-carved wooden bar provides the backdrop for friendly bartenders, who really know how to pour! They are generous and cute too! The night this writer visited, the food was yummy and very reasonably priced, a welcome trend these days! Fong Houng's kitchen boasts a chef from Hong Kong and his food is authentic Chinese cooking! Fresh, tasty, and savory were all adjectives friends use to describe their dinners! It just made this writer want to eat more than the diet permits!

Michael Martinez, the manager, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a club owner and manager for many years. He is sure to bring The Phoenix Lounge to new heights and to your attention. Make time to get across the river and discover The New Phoenix Lounge!
