Pendulum Dance Theatre presents
'Nine,' in an acrobatic creation
Pendulum Dance Theatre presents NINE: An Evening of Unconfined Circus in it's ninth professional season.
The May 2-3 show is in the French American International School at 8500 N.W. Johnson St. May 2 showtime is 9 p.m. and May 3 is 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children.
Acrobatic choreography, insomniac contortionists and roller-skating lovers appear in short performance pieces and a preview of a full-length creation. Trapezes become furniture and masked dancers ponder technology in exciting new works and revisited old favorites.
Established in 2000, Pendulum Dance Theatre has spent the past nine years melding contemporary circus with dance and theatre, creating high-flying shows for theatres, festivals, school and events. Projects have ranged from creating and performing original contemporary works to offering educational programs and providing shows catered for specific events and venues. The company is proud and excited to accumulate these experiences in NINE.
