Rina Stickler Benefit
Rina Stickler, wife of Portland musician Kerry Stickler, of Marquee, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer Aug., 2008. Rina is the proud mother of four and grandmother of five. Rina was one of 12 people in the U.S to be offered a vaccine to prevent recurrence. Her tumor was sent to a research lab center in Buffalo, N.Y., where they did extensive research. Research showed that the new vaccine adhered to her tumor.
Everyone loves Rina and wants her to have the best chance to live a long and healthy life. A benefit will be March 22 at Domenic's Bar and Grill in Milwaukuie, 16065 Mcloughlin Blvd. It will start at 1 p.m. and will have an awesome line-up such as Big Monty, Robbie Laws, Ellen Whyte, Franco And The Stingers, Marquee, Lisa Mann, Fenix Project, Project Eldridge, J.R.Sims and Texas Holdum, Pam Becker and many more special guests. Help Rina fight this terrible disease.
The reason for the benefit is that the American Cancer Society only pays for one trip. Rina has to go to Buffalo, N.Y. seven times for this vaccine, with a four-day stay each time.
A fund is set up at any US Bank to Donate To The Rina Stickler Fund. She would like to thank everyone for their support.
