Benefit set for 'Fast Freddy, active CBA volunteer stricken with cancer

To help with massive medical expenses and to gather wood for winter heat during his recovery, friends have organized a special event, "Freddy & Friends," on Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Refectory (1618 NE 122nd Ave), from 4pm to 11pm. Admission is $10.00 plus a "suggested donation." Consider bringing an item for the Silent Auction at this event. Scheduled to perform are the Strange Tones,DK Stewart & Jay Bird Koder, Duffy Bishop, Fenix Project, Terry Robb, an all-day blues jam hosted by Kevin Selfe & The Tornadoes.
