Chopsticks boasts neighborhood tradition

Chopsticks is a neighborhood tradition, open at it's Mill Plain location for more than 25 years.
This is a traditional Chinese-American restaurant, (as much as one can think of a Chinese food restaurant as being traditional here in the good 'ol USA), with a very extensive menu, and a full bar as well.
Everyone there was very friendly and welcoming, as though they were happy to serve--very cool.
There is a distinctive neighborhood feel to the place, making it comfortable, even on the first visit. Inside, the age of the structure is evident, but not in a bad way, in a cool, '60s "Mad Men" retro kind of way.
The entrance has all-slate walls and as one walks into the lounge, it's as if you're stepping-back in time at least three decades. It has a very cool, relaxed feel, especially an area with a working fireplace and several tables with chairs that are actually comfortable! This alcove area is a great place to bring a date.
Chopsticks gets behind holiday celebrating in a big way, allowing a week or more to celebrate Christmas and New Year's. There is a large banquet room that's available for company events, family parties, or whatever special event you may have in mind.
Happy Hour is available every weekday and all day Sunday, with drink specials, as well as free munchies, usually made available after 3:30 p.m.
There is even a combination of a burger, fries and a small beer (or soft drink) for less than $4 until 3 p.m. each day!
Live music rocks the lounge each Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Currently, the line-up alternates between two bands; Thunder Alley and Dirty Charlie, both of which will have your feet movin' out on the dance floor all night long.
Chopsticks has a very extensive menu, with much more than 100 items. Many folks are so satisfied with the food quality and service, that they return year after year.
Chopsticks is clean, retro and friendly, with high quality food and beverages delivered at very reasonable prices.
With daily lunch and dinner specials, fast service and everything on menu available to go, they are ready to satisfy even the largest appetite; (they will even deliver, within the neighborhood).
The live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays is a bonus, and there is never a cover charge!
It's well-worth a look-see!
