The Sinners Club releases hilarious debut live limited edition CD single

The popular Portland based band The Sinners Club is continuing its 10th Anniversary celebration with the release of a hilarious debut limited edition live CD single of their original song I Like 'Em Young, Sept. 11 at Irving’s Bar and Grill at the Wilsonville Holiday Inn.

Written and sung by front man Dan "The Hofner Guy" Golden, the track is culled from a recent live TV concert appearance and humorously speaks to the merits of education and experience throughout life's journey. Backed by the band's top notch lineup of Golden on vocals and bass; the twin guitar attack of Jade Stone and Brian Jones; plus drummer Gene Wood, the tune also features a special guest spot by all-star sax player Pete "First Call" Moss, a well known figure in the local blues community.

The show will begin at 9pm and feature door prizes, giveaways and of course, the first public offering of the new CD. The CD Release Party at Irving’s will begin at 9 p.m. and feature door prizes, giveaways and of course, the first public offering of the new CD. The show comes as part of the band's "Perpetual Motion Tour," which has seen them play at such venues and events as the Rose Garden Arena, Crystal Ballroom, Rose Festival, The Bite Of Oregon, Portland Meadows Raceway, Chinook Winds Casino, Fort Vancouver 4th Of July Celebration, Yoshida's "Sand In The City" Benefit, Tigard Festival Of Balloons, Sandy Music Fair, plus countless nightclubs, special events, weddings, TV specials and commercials.

Golden and Stone are also co-founders of the vaunted Oregon Rock & Blues Research Library and known nationally as collectors of rare vintage instruments.
