D's Bar hosts hot Tuesday Jam & occasional live bands, Margo Tufo set March 24
A quaint establishment, D’s Bar is owned and operated by Dennis Martin and his wife Natalie for the last six years. They run a very down-home style and neighborhood friendly club with a full service bar and a good array of brews and cocktails.
The kitchen is open with a fine selection of menu choices during operating hours and is well within a pocket-friendly reach. Martin recently started offering live music once a month on Friday nights with some of the best local talent and has a really great jam night on Tuesday evenings from 8 p.m. Hosted by Steve Coats and Muddy Joe Carter, they get down on the blues end of the business supported by Dave Elizondo on drums, Randy Burgess on guitar and Don Thomas on bass. These guys are really fine to hear and set a fine mood to start your evening. Extremely musician friendly, they welcome all to come and join them and ply their talents.
This month on February 10, the club featured Angel Bouchet and her band for a fun evening of get down blues; it's always good to see her do her thing. She will be followed by Margo Tufo and Friends March 24.
D's Bar also offers pool, darts and shuffleboard, as well as pinball and lottery games. It also provides large screen TVs for sports game viewing . D's is located at 6732 N.E.
