 Legendary country singing sensation, author and actress Loretta Lynn returns to Chinook Winds Casino Aug. 13-14 for a pair of concert engagements.

 The first female performer to be named Country Music Association's "Entertainer of the Year," Lynn is one of the most beloved singing artists of modern times. The Academy of Country Music honored Loretta with 11 significant awards including "Entertainer of the Year" and "Artist of the Decade - 1970s" and in 1985 she received both the "American Music Awards" and Music City News' "Living Legend" Awards.

 Lynn's many number one hits touch a full range of human emotions with everything from favorite ballads to ground-breaking new songs for a female country artist including The Pill , One's On The Way, Don't Come Home A'Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind), You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man and Coal Miner's Daughter.

 Lynn also authored a best-selling book, Coal Miner's Daughter, which was made into an award-winning movie, honoring her with the distinction as the first country singer with an Oscar-winning autobiographical movie. Lynn's many talents also include acting roles on several prime time network television programs, plus countless guest and co-host assignments on television interview shows.
