CHINOOK WINDS CASINO

Star of the Renegade, known as "Bobby Sixkiller" on his T.V. series, Branscombe Richmond and the Renegade Posse, will perform at Chinook Winds Casino Aug. 7-8. If it's action you want, don't miss the energy-packed appearance of this popular and dynamic star with his band.

Branscombe, son of a professional actor and stuntman, began his acting career at the age of six with an appearance in Mutiny on the Bounty, starring Marlon Brando. Appearing in more than 300 television shows and 100 feature films, Branscombe's credits include Batman Returns, Grand Canyon, Star Trek III, Jake and the Fatman, The A-Team and Cagney & Lacey.

In addition to his acting career, music has become an integral part of Richmond's life with more than 50 concert dates a year performing with, as he describes them, his "rockin' country band."

The Aug. 7 and 8 dates will also feature Williams & Ree, dubbed the "Indian & the White Guy," who will open the show with their hilarious brand of "off-ethnic" humor. As they say, they "aren't bigoted." They "make fun of everyone!"

Williams & Ree have performed together for more than 25 years, sharing the stage with such superstars as Garth Brooks, The Oak Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels and Randy Travis. They have worked as regulars on Hee Haw. Their show is a lively, fast-paced mixture of comedy bits, so-cial/political commentary and racial zings entwined with original songs. Not limited to comedy, Williams & Ree were nominated for Best Vocal Duo by the Country Music Association in 1995. It's double the excitement and double the fun at Chinook Winds double-header concert Aug. 7-8.

Performances are at 8 p.m. on Friday, 7 and 10 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15 and can be obtained by calling 1-888-MAIN-ACT (624-6228) or Fred Meyer Fastixx 1-800-922-TIXX (8499).
