Fife, AKA "Bruce Fife Productions," is a one person band who has been around for 20 years entertaining audiences from lounges to resorts up and down the West Coast and beyond. He's a professional who's probably more comfortable on the stage in front of audiences than anywhere else.
The music that Fife performs is variety, which means there's generally something for everyone, no matter how diversified it is. And, for diversity, it's the New Riverside Restaurant & Lounge that seems to draw people from all walks of life for its delicious food.
When Fife takes to the stage, sporting a guitar and backed by keyboards and an array of computerized equipment, his music is captivating. His sets feature rock'n'roll of the '50s through '70s, the '80s, along with some '90s. With his background greatly influenced by jazz, he even throws in a little bit of country and folk.
During his professional career, Fife has survived the changes in the music business, making it successfully through the lean and tough times that go with the territory. From the disco craze to disc jockeys and Karaoke, this is one musician who's still on stage performing to audiences who tend to follow him from one club to the next.
Fife is not the typical one person band. When he takes to the stage, what you hear coming from his equipment was all created by him. Unlike others who purchase sequenced tapes to go along with their music, this musician has relied upon nothing else but his own talent.
The future for Fife and his music is recordings. The veteran musician is hoping to expand his audience by going into the studio and creating CDs. However, he says he'll always be doing what he likes best -- performing live at places like the New Riverside Restaurant & Lounge.
