Fanuary Fiddle Fiesta Concert Series is scheduled for Sunday afternoons, 12-6 p.m., at R.P. McMurphey's at The Academy, 400 E. Evergreen Boulevard, Vancouver, Wash.

Feb. 1 will kickoff with Jerry Bobbe on his cello with his impersonations of Charlie Chaplin and entertaining that makes classical music anything but stuffy. Opening for Jerry, also accompanying him is Angelico Duo: Russian harpist Olga Ristic, concert grand harp, and Karen DeWig, flute.
Featured Feb. 8, internationally known Hollis Taylor of Twisted Fiddle fame with her trio does a "twisted" blend of jazz, western swing and fiddle. Opening is classical guitarist James Manuelle, performing a variety of instrumental and vocal music; from a Latin American tango to a Venezuelan waltz and closing with pop songs of yesterday and today.
Feb. 15 will feature famous western swing fiddler James Mason and popular vocalist, Rebecca Kilgore along with their band. Other local artists opening and closing will be confirmed at a later date.
Feb. 22 will feature the famous old-time western swing fiddler, Bus Boyk, 80 years old. Also performing is Christian songwriter Craig Allen. On this day, a surprise famous guest will be performing. Call R.P. McMurphey's for info, 360-695-9211 or Beacock's at 694-7134.
